Monthly List: August 2018
Here's a very short list of books I can't wait to read. I'm mostly excited about the conclusion of the Kate Daniels series with Magic Triumphs as well as the ending of a super dramatic trilogy The Thousandth Floor- The Towering Sky but I will check out Catwoman as well.
Catwoman by Sarah J.Maas | August 7th
Magic Triumphs by Ilona Andrews | August 28th
The Towering Sky by Katherine McGee | August 28th
01 July 2018
Monthly List: July 2018
Here are three books I'm excited to read in the month of July.
All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover | July 17th
Bright We Burn by Kiersten White | July 10th
The Darkest Legacy by Alexandra Bracken | July 31st
I always keep on giving Colleen Hoover chances. Sometimes her books give me the feels but most of the time, they don't. I guess she's one of those authors who's premise sounds very interesting but the execution ends up being lackluster.
Gimme more Vlada! She is cool and ruthless. I love her. Bright We Burn is a must read, in my opinion.
One of side characters from the Darkest Minds trilogy is getting her own story. I feel like there's no need for this book but publishers are trying to milk the franchise. There's also a movie coming out soon- "We better get that coin!"

Monthly List: June 2018
And we are nearing the half of 2018! Time is flying by. It's already very warm where I live and it's hard to fall asleep in this heat. Anyway, here are the books I plan to read this month.
A Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir | June 12th
Iron and Magic by Ilona Andrews | June 26th
Save the Date by Morgan Matson | June 5th
Gosh! I'm so excited about Save the Date, you have no idea. I hope Morgan Matson publishes one contemporary novel every summer for at least the next ten years. It would make me so happy.
Iron and Magic- Please, ignore the hideous cover. I'm sure the book will be full of kickass action scenes with the signature Andrews humor.
I don't plan to miss A Reaper at the Gates either. Though, I have to admit, I have forgotten everything about the previous books and I'm praying for a short summary in the first few chapters.

Monthly List: May 2018
Can't believe it's almost summer. May is one of my favorite months in the year mostly because of nice weather, barbecue season and cherries! I love me some cherries. It's such an underrated fruit.
Now let's look at new releases I plan to read/see in the month of May.
Books
From Twinkle with Love by Sandhya Menon | May 22nd
I Was Born for This by Alice Oseman | May 3rd
Legendary by Stephanie Garber | May 29th
Lifelik3 by Jay Kristoff | May 29th
Listen to Your Heart by Kasie West | May 29th
War Storm by Victoria Aveyard | May 15th
I most definitely plan to read the new Alice Oseman book, as well as Lifelik3 and the conclusion to the Red Queen series, War Storm. I'll check those others out if I find the time.
Movies
Solo: A Star Wars Story | May 25th
Deadpool 2 | May 18th
02 April 2018
Monthly List: April 2018
I don't know about you but for me, March flew by so fast. I've been reading more in March. There were days when I would be finishing up one book a day. I've read 54 books out of 100 for this year's Goodreads challenge. The much neglected graphic novels also got some time. Seems like a win.
Now let's take a look at April new releases I plan to read.
Now let's take a look at April new releases I plan to read.
I Have Lost My Way by Gayle Forman | April 1st
Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli | April 24th
Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett | April 3rd
Gayle Forman is one of the authors whose work I automatically read. I Have Lost My Way was suppose to come out in March but it was pushed to April for some reason. No worries, I will read it as soon as I can get my greedy hands on it.
Becky is also on my auto-read list. I love her upbeat novels with interesting characters.
Jenn Bennett is also on my auto-read list since Alex, Approximately. That book was bursting with cuteness and it seems her newest novel is getting a lot of great reviews so my expectations are high. You better not disappoint, Jenn!
A Quiet Place | April 6th
Avengers: Infinity War | April 27
Yes! A Quiet Place is finally coming out! I'm so excited about this movie. Apparently, some critic spoiled the whole film before it was even released. What a bad move. Who's going to invite you to their premiere if you're not doing your job the way you're suppose to?!
Avengers! Watching this for Cap's beard. :)
04 March 2018
Monthly List: March 2018
It seems March is blessing us with so many exciting new releases. The one I'm looking forward the most is Restore Me. I live for Warnette. Can't freaking wait!!! Just a couple of days left!
February flew by so fast if you ask me. During it I started my very first bullet journal and I even started watching a Turkish soap which became a huge part of my daily daydreaming, read obsessing. I haven't been this invested into something since Reylo.
Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi | March 6th
High Voltage by Karen Marie Moning | March 6th
I Have Lost My Way by Gayle Forman | March 27th
In Search of Us by Ava Dellaria | March 6th
Obsidio by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff | March 13th
Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi | March 6th
I'm going to need some help getting through all those book after March 6th releases drop. I can't possibly read them all till the end of the month. Maybe I could do it, if I challenge myself.
March 2nd | Red Sparrow
March 6th | A Wrinkle in Time, The Strangers, Thoroughbreads
March 16th | Tomb Raider, Love Simon
March 23rd| Pacific Rim
March 30th | Ready Player One

Top Ten Tuesday #30
I haven't participated in this meme since 2014! :O It's good to be back! I probably won't post every week.
This week's topic is Books that have been on my TBR the longest and I still haven't read. Most of my picks are embarrassing cause I'm really bad at reading books with a lot of pages.
1. Noughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman - I have the boxed set. Since 2012, I think. So embarrassing.
2. The Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson - The case of huge book syndrome. I have the first 5 books and they are collecting books on my bookshelf. Has anyone read it?3. The Brides of Rollrock Island by Margo Lanagan - Got this as a early b-day present from mom a couple of years ago and I've been avoiding it cause I don't want to be disappointed. All of my friends seem to adore this book.
4. The Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent - I kind of want to read past book 1 because of Tod. He's a cutie.
5. Hush, Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick - Ehhh... This series. This came during the Twilight craze so the romance is super unhealthy.
6. Going Bovine by Libba Bray - Dust collector. I love Libba but her books are loooong.
7. Finnikin of the Rock by Melina Marchetta - It's a known fact Marchetta is amazing and allegedly, so is this trilogy. Will read it before I die. For now they're dust collectors.
8. Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor - I'm probably the only one who hasn't finished this trilogy. I wasn't a fan of the first book. :/ It was meh for me.
9. Beauty Queens by Libba Bray - Libba, Libba, Libba. I want to read this but the size is turning me off.
10. A Little Wanting Song by Cath Crowley - My friends love this book and it's been years since they read it. What am I waiting for? I dunno.

Monthly List: February 2018
Can't believe it's already February! Time sure is flying! I feel like November was just around the corner. Anyway, here's my very short Monthly List for February. I don't read adult novels on the regular anymore but some of these have caught my eye so I decided to put them on my already huge pile.
Black Panther directed by Ryan Coogler | February 16th
Annihilation directed by Alex Garland | February 23rd
I'm so excited about Annihilation mostly because of the director. I love everything Alex Garland touches. He only recently started directing but he's been a screenwriter of some one my favorite movies.
Books
The Lucky Ones by Tiffany Reisz | February 13th
Surprise Me by Sophie Kinsella | February 13th
Gentleman Nine by Penelope Ward | February 19th
Immortal Reign by Morgan Rhodes | February 6th
Movies
Annihilation directed by Alex Garland | February 23rd

TV shows
Altered Carbon | February 2nd
Life Sentence | February 27th
UnREAL | February 26th
Two new shows premiering this month and one, epic show is returning. I recently read Altered Carbon and I wasn't so impressed but I feel like I would love the show. Lucy Hale in a CW show! Yes! Yes! Yes! I hope it's cute and can replace the place in my heart previously held by Hart of Dixie. I need a cute dramedy in my life.
