I haven't participated in this meme since 2014! :O It's good to be back! I probably won't post every week.
This week's topic is Books that have been on my TBR the longest and I still haven't read. Most of my picks are embarrassing cause I'm really bad at reading books with a lot of pages.
1. Noughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman - I have the boxed set. Since 2012, I think. So embarrassing.
2. The Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson - The case of huge book syndrome. I have the first 5 books and they are collecting books on my bookshelf. Has anyone read it?3. The Brides of Rollrock Island by Margo Lanagan - Got this as a early b-day present from mom a couple of years ago and I've been avoiding it cause I don't want to be disappointed. All of my friends seem to adore this book.
4. The Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent - I kind of want to read past book 1 because of Tod. He's a cutie.
5. Hush, Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick - Ehhh... This series. This came during the Twilight craze so the romance is super unhealthy.
6. Going Bovine by Libba Bray - Dust collector. I love Libba but her books are loooong.
7. Finnikin of the Rock by Melina Marchetta - It's a known fact Marchetta is amazing and allegedly, so is this trilogy. Will read it before I die. For now they're dust collectors.
8. Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor - I'm probably the only one who hasn't finished this trilogy. I wasn't a fan of the first book. :/ It was meh for me.
9. Beauty Queens by Libba Bray - Libba, Libba, Libba. I want to read this but the size is turning me off.
10. A Little Wanting Song by Cath Crowley - My friends love this book and it's been years since they read it. What am I waiting for? I dunno.
Beauty Queens sounds like so much fun. I also want to read the Mistborn trilogy, though I`m a bit intimidated by the books.

They are all incredibly long and not something I would like to hold for hours in my hands. :P
DeleteNoughts & Crosses is an AMAZING book. It's such a classic in the making too, I'd definitely recommend it. I only read the first of Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy recently and I really enjoyed it! The same goes for Days Of Blood & Starlight. Going Bovine I didn't really like all that much, it's a bit too far into the bonkers side of things. I've heard great things about Beauty Queens though!
ReplyDeleteGood choices, feel free to check out my TTT list :)
I've been wanting to read Beauty Queens, my friend listened to the audio and loved the narration. I also wanted to read Going Bovine. I enjoyed Blood & Starlight. I've never heard of the Mistborn books, so new add to my TBR!
