Top Ten Books That Will Make You Cry
I didn't know where to start with this list. I already made a 'cry fest' shelf on Goodreads and I had to think about which books actually made me cry the most.
Most of them were sad tears. I think I cried the most while reading The Storyteller and you can read my gif review HERE . This book shook me pretty hard. Forbidden was hard to read but The Storyteller was just another totally different thing.
I would recommend all of them to anyone. You can't miss these books. Please read them, please.
Thirteen Reasons Why and The Sky is Everywhere both made my list. I can't wait to read If He Had Been With Me... it looks great. But I don't think I can do Forbidden. That seems like it would be a tough subject to read about and I don't know if I can do it :(

I've read your review of The Storyteller before and I put the book on my TBR list but I still haven't read it. I need to be a certain mood to read really sad books.
ReplyDeleteI also have On the Jellicoe Road on my list :)

The Summer series, IF He Had Been with Me and Jellicoe Road made it to my list, too, gosh I remember how I couldn't read anything for days after reading If He Had Been with Me, it totally broke my heart. I've seen Forbidden on quite a few lists today and I'm quite intrigued, as I've had a copy forever! Great list Zemira!
ReplyDeleteGreat picks. The Sky is Everywhere made my list too, such an emotional and beautiful book. So happy to see Forbidden on so many lists, I LOVED that book but the end destroted me. My TTT :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! I have Jellicoe Road to read, but haven't read it yet. I didn't realize it was one that will most likely make me cry. Good to know!

I really like your list ... I've read about half of them and I would say The Little Prince and Jellicoe Road are my favorites/made me cry the most. I really want to read Stolen!
