Warning! There will be spoilers. I won't hold my tongue for anyone. I want to be free to express my thoughts since I can't explain why I'm my life is ruined by fictional character to my family or friends. So if you don't want to know about which guy Juliette chose in the end, shoo! 

Another warning. This review won't make any sense. My thoughts are scattered all over my brain and I'm still pretty much not sure how I'm going to continue my life without a new book every winter. 

What mind fuckery is this? I felt like I was going crazy while reading this book. I would clutch my hair, flail all over the room, cry, yell This is my ship!, shimmy and pretend I'm taking a part in those gifs where people are REALLY excited about something. 

Ignite Me was better than seeing your favorite band perform live for the first time. I don't get excited easily but I was acting like a mad woman today. I never felt this way about any book/series before. Tahereh delivered again, so surprise there. I had some doubts about whether she would kill off characters. I was worried about my King getting hurt. I'm not gonna lie, if I had to choose between saving everyone else or just King Warner... well, do I even need to answer that? 

Readers didn't like Juliette in Shatter Me and Unravel Me but I was one of those who loved her manic ass right from the start. She grew up and learned who she really is. She's someone who fights no matter what, tried to do the right thing every time, has a kind heart and thinks positive. She's a true fighter, is determined and I love her. 

Adam was an useless POS, most of the time. Who'm I kidding?! He was awful towards Juliette after he found out they wouldn't be getting together. He was being an ex from hell. Juliette was being nice but he wouldn't let go of his anger. The only person he treated nicely was James. Not even Kenji could get on his good side. 

Kenji! The sweet sidekick. He's always helpful. He's still a mystery. Hmmm... I wonder if he'll get his own novella because I don't think he got to shine properly in this trilogy. I'm actually pissed Fracture Me ended up being Adam's novella and not Kenji's. No one asked for Adam's POV, ok?! People were demanding another Warner novella while I was the only one in there asking for more Kenji. No one wanted to read what is not inside Adam's head! 

Here's the part I was saving for the end. King Warner. His Stylish Majesty, Aaron Warner Anderson. AAAHHHHHH!!! Sorry! How to describe this man? He's perfect. I have nothing bad to say about him. I am ready to be ravished on the table. haha And I'm not even done there. I want him in the bathtub while we try out his soaps. I want him on the bed, bench press in the training room and in the elevator. Sorry! I got carried away again. I swear, I didn't mean to go there but my thoughts just drift. I'm gonna be serious for a second now. Warner turned out even better than I initially thought and all the haters will probably change their mind. If not, then you can just re-read Shatter Me for the rest of your life and pretend the other two master pieces never happened. 

A couple of weeks ago I had a conversation with one of my friends. We were discussing our exes and she said she would never like her ex now because she grew up and changed a lot. She doesn't want to cuddle a guy who's too insecure about himself and them in general. She was right. So many relationships fell apart not because people stop loving each other but because they changed. And that's the main reason I knew Adam and Juliette would never work. He would never get used to Juliette's powers, her desire to be free and to want more from life just like she doesn't want to be 'all' he wants. 

Chapter 55 made me cry. I was seriously freaking out while reading it and then it was over. I had to set the book down and cry for a couple of minutes. Why did I cry? Well, because my ship is canon!!! King Warner found happiness and it made me happy. Just when I thought nothing can top Chapter 55, Chapter 58 comes along and I start levitating. 

I can say thing with certainty- Aaron Warner is the best male character in whole bookdom. Move over Mr.Darcy, Jace, Dimitri, Will, Adrian, Eric, Barrons and all others. You can't fight me on this because there's just no way anyone has all the qualities for the sexiest man ever. He's Juliette's bird for God's sake! If you still want to comment about some other dude, please do, I'll just laugh his peasant ass off. 

I could write for hours about this book but I'll just stop here. Tahereh Mafi is finally replacing Richelle Mead as my favorite author. After so many year, Richelle has lost the throne. Never saw this coming. Thank you, Tahereh. For your incredibly unique prose, for your impeccable  style and for giving antagonists a completely different side.

1. I felt like I was suspended in a delicious mix of chocolate, chocolate and chocolate. Everything was so sweet and nice.

2. It's always nice to see a guy appreciate a girl in each and every way. Right from those warm hugs to the way she talks and the way she walks and her way of looking at life and handling it and the way he feels with her and the way SHE makes him feel. *sighs*

3. If a guy says that he craves you in the least creepiest and the cutest way possible. MARRY HIM.

"I press my forehead against hers, locking her in my gaze. “You are so beautiful. Inside and out. I don’t just need you. I crave you. Everything about you. You are the only person I’ve felt this way about. You’re my best friend.”- Brody.

4. If his craving doesn't convince you, then this definitely should, "Reason 13: I'd beat the crap out of my own flesh and blood for you."

5. "Reason 23: You're as horny as I am."<----Am I the only one who finds this funny? This book was hands down hilarious and equally adorable.

6. A romance like this has always been my fantasy and to see it play out this way made me extra gooey and happy!

Now, you see. Brody is the kind of a guy an average girl generally dreams of. One that doesn't judge you. One that stands by you no matter what. One that bears your wrath even when both he and you knwo that it's your fault. Also,he's hot. (Apparently he has abs and pecs and he's tall. So physically he's a homerun.) That being said, he's your everyday guy. He's horny. He's insecure. He's bored. He stares at a girl's bum and even admits it. He's a cliched dirty-room keeper. But, he's cool. To him, it's what inside that matters and this is something he realizes along the course of the book. Right from the beginning we know that he has the hots for his brother's ex-girlfriend and when Hayley decides to mentor him and help him, he soon realizes that what he feels for Hayley is so much more than what he feels for the girl he's behind. He finds amazingness in her bizarreness. He appreciates her perception. He is responsive and it was all so very real. His thoughts made sense. If he thought that Hayley was an irresistible hot-mama, then she was! HE made me believe in everything he said and in everything he did. I loved this guy!

Now for Hayley?
Since this was from Brody's POV and I was deeply infatuated with him so I couldn't think about anything else. So sorry, Hayley. Though, I will say this that I appreciated their dynamic and since a relationship is a two-way street, thank you Hayley for being fantastic.

TRIFFTFFF (God.) , was fast paced, engrossing and I finished the whole book in one sitting! I was enjoying the ride and I just didn't want to let go of it. It's not the best contemporary book I've come across, but for a rainy day or ,at least for me, any day in general, it's a treat to read.
With a hilarious tone to the book with tons of cute elements, The Reasons I Fell For The Funny Fat Friend is a total winner!

Book Review: The Sound by Sarah Alderson.

IS a thrilling book, thrilling if fails to thrill you?

The Sound by Sarah Alderson, is supposed to be a romance-thriller and as far as I know, when it comes to romance, the ball is in Ms. Alderson's court... as for the thrill factor, not so much.

The Sound introduces us to Ren Kingston, a seventeen year old English girl who's on her way to Nantucket for a nanny job. Ren's plan of action? Lie low and enjoy. But her plan of action doesn't really work the way she initially intended it to work. Ren is introduced to a cliched summer of hot, beautiful boys who love to party and break hearts and a bad boy from the other side, who serves as a competition to the previously mentioned hot boys. So, Ren's summer is off to an interesting start. Do you wish to make the story more interesting? Enters the infamous character of a serial killer who likes to eat Nannies for dinner or lunch or breakfast or anything that suits his time. Our serial killer is sort of a rockstar. He likes them foreign and he's out there to get Ren..and then eat her. If this isn't enough for you, then wait for it, EVERYBODY HAS SECRETS and of course, Ren is the perfect candidate to unravel said secrets. OH YEAH.

When you're about to start The Sound, make sure that you go into it with zero expectations. I'm a romance addict and after reading so much, I've come to realize that fantasy, whether it be urban or paranormal, seems to be just my thing, Fantasy is closely followed by contemporary novels and then dystopian and then science fiction and then..well it just goes on. What I'm trying to say, is that it's because I'm more of romantic that I was able to tolerate the non-thrillyness and non-other-element-ness in the book and I think, that's precisely why, I liked The Sound more than I actually thought I would.

You have to understand, if I were a person who loved mystery and adrenaline then this book would've been a downer for me. And now that we've established that I ignored the absence of thrill, it's safe to say that I atleast noticed that it didn't exist. Which again isn't a good sign, is it?

Alderson's writing style is very simple and clean and I love it. The Lila series is one of my favourites and I can only imagine how empty my life would be if Alex Wakemen never existed. Seriously, my life would've been a dull void of emptiness. I thank god everyday for Ms. Alderson's existence and for her beautiful author-mind that created Alex. *dies*

Anyway, like I said earlier, the writing is very simple and it's simplicity is what helps make the main protagonist sound more real and alive and entertaining. The romance is always subtle but no too subtle. It's there and it's sweet and it's tangy and it's all that the book needs. Alderson's writing works for this book and the romance (and Jesse. YUM.) is the ONLY thing that made this book what it is. I'm not sure how I feel about Ren as the protagonist. The first half felt very bland and slow to me and Ren's narration wasn't really helping it.

It was the second half of the book that redeemed the book for me. It was fun, fast, entertaining and exciting as heck. I'll give this to Alderson: she knows how to write those final-showdown scenes. So much adrenaline. So much anticipation. WOW.

Jesse Miller (the bad boy. *wink wink*) has made his mark. There's this one part where Ren describes Jesse as the mixture of Daimen from Vampire Diaries and Alex Fuentes of Perfect Chemistry. DO YOU SEE WHAT SHE DID THERE?
She used the Alex card on me. She USED the ALEX card on me. She USED the ALEX card on me.
Jesse Miller is perfection. He's intense, broody and oh so delicious. Listen, if not for the romance, read this book for the guy. Please. He's amazing and wonderful and he plays a guitar and his voice is beautiful and he can paint and he can land a solid punch or two. Also,did I tell you about his holy hotness's shirtlessness? OMG.

As I end, all I can say is that even though this book lacks the thrill of a thriller, it's romance and entertaining nature makes up for most of it. Do I recommend you to read it? Yes, definitely. But, I will ask you to proceed with caution. Ciao!

I'll award this series some serious credit for being able to capture the right essence and beauty of summer. It was bright, light and sunny....and it was kind of fun. So..YAY!

I've had crushes on older guys. I remember giggling 'mentally' (Yes, I was too cool.) after sneaking glances to see THAT hot senior guy or group of senior guys in my school. I'd walk by their classes repeatedly and I'd keep looking inside and go all swoony and ah, well....I was creepy. So I understand Tess's infatuation. 

I understand why seventeen-year old Tess was so enamoured by 22-year old Toby Morrison. I definitely see the appeal. It's quite natural, actually and frankly, pretty cute. Old and responsible guy with a cute, sweet girl? Nice dynamic.

The problem?

It wasn't believable. 

Tess, Ellie and Adam are best friends and have a fantastic plan for the summer. They plan to work at the Onslow Hotel, swim in the Onslow lake, watch fireworks and have water bomb fights. So all in all, it's going to be an enjoyable summer. But here's the specialty of YA summer-themed contemporary books: You always have hotties.
And the Onslow boys, aka Toby, Sean, Stan, Chris and Ringer are just that. THEY ARE HOTTIES. 
They are employed. They are sweet and they soon take Tess, Ellie and Adam under their wing which is really nice to read about because they come with buckets of banter and swoon swishing and swooshing over the brim, topped with the beauty of friendship, just like a cherry on a cake or..was it ice cream?

Anyway, the idea sounds so compelling and fun but it all fell apart in the book. I had some serious issues with Tess and her behaviour. I won't judge her for what she did but I, as a person, just couldn't agree with any of it. Ergo, I didn't like her. At all.
I loved Ellie and Adam, though! They were amazing bestfriends but by the second half, their characters started..diminishing? Fading away? So I was a tad disappointed. Some of the twists and turns in the book were unacceptable and I felt like pushing my kindle away before I seriously lost it. Sean's and Stan's and Adam's characters were the comic angle of the book but in the end, not much happened for them as well. Although, I wouldn't say that for Sean, because Sean was the only character in the book who actually managed to swoon me off my feet. 

Now, Toby is a different character. I like Broody and intense. I was made for broody and intense but hell no will I accept broody and intense, especially after ....you know. 
Toby as a love interest didn't sit well with me. I kept on vouching for a Tess-Adam or Tess-Sean dynamic because it made sense. They cared about Tess. They were protective, supportive and responsive which obviously, I didn't think Toby was. It wasn't normal and there was a point when all I could so was roll my eyes. Rolling eyes=Not good.

I glanced at Adam’s profile as he sipped.
“Don’t give your heart away too easily.” He turned to me. “Make him earn it.”

THIS WAS GREAT!

I lean towards feistyness. Timid and shy girls just don't do it for me. I think maybe that's why I didn't like Tess all that much, but Amy, well, she's somebody I liked. And trust me, I liked her A LOT.

We met Amy Henderson in the previous book when she was just fifteen years old.Being the Onslow Hotel's owner's daughter, she was spoilt, irritating and easy to dislike. She was known for throwing tantrums and had a temper nobody wanted to be the victim of. But after almost losing her life when she was sixteen and after being saved and sent to boarding school, things were put in a perspective for this hot-headed train of spirit. 

And guess who saved her?

Presenting to you, the swooniest guy amongst the Onslow boys, Sean Murrrphyyy. I've always liked Sean and I didn't really like how things ended for him, in The Boys of Summer, so the fact that he was getting a book of his own appeased my angry heart. 

It's safe to say, that Amy and Sean were perfect for each other. There was so much banter, humour, swoon and hot-displays-of-chest (OMG.), that I don't think I have anything to complain about.

I loved Amy so much. I loved how she didn't want to let go of the hotel and how she wanted to bring back the hotel to it's former glory! I even started to like Toby which is funny considering how much I disliked him in the previous book. Even Tess seemed sane. HAH! Chris, Adam and Amy were the perfect cousins to each other. Even though, Chris was a tad dominating. Adam comes back to play a MAJOR role as the comic angle of the book and boy, his success in being funny is commendable. AND DO I SEE AN ADAM-ELLIE THINGIE IN FUTURE?

Oh wow.

What I love about such books or any book in a series, in general, is that they always shine a spotlight on the underdogs. I've always loved secondary characters and their potential and when these secondary characters get a book of their own, it just makes me immensely happy and I think that's why I read even the dorkiest of books. I read them because I want to know how the character's life pans out.

And An endless summer was satisfyingly good enough to make me happy.

So after some thinking , I've come to a conclusion..
I like guys with green-diamondy shiny eyes. I like guys who are smug and have a neon board with 'NO MODESTY HERE.' written on top of their heads. I like guys who have silky wavy hairy hair.I like guys who have broad shoulders and are exceptionally hot. I like guys who can move mountains for you. I like guys who are aliens.

So if you match the above criterias , then let's run away and get married.

I'm actually having a hard time writing a review for this one because I'm just so happy and giddy and excited.
After Onyx , it was pretty clear to me that Opal was going to either be totally awesome or it could be an epic fail. But I've always been the one to lean on the side of wonder , so I went ahead and face-planted into it with the former thought in my mind.

Now let me tell you how it was , in simple words..

If Onyx burned you , then Opal is going to incinerate you.

You're ash. You're jelly. And you have that stupid smile on your stupid face.



Honestly , this whole reading experience was a total blur. While I was at it , I totally forgot the world. I was so engrossed that I never even paid attention at my own thoughts and ideas. I didn't care how Katy's attitude was this time unlike the several other times where I totally bitched about it. Also, I didn't care which way the story went unless the direction was downhill because it certainly was not. Obviously , I did have my attentions on Daemon but that's on regular basis so that doesn't count. I'm not a good critic when it come to this book. All I can say is that I thoroughly enjoyed it and loved it. Not once did I feel bored and not once did anything irritate me. It was all smooth and I think there was this one place where I actually got a tad misty-eyed.Smug guys proffessing their love are always my downfall among many other things.

There's not much I can say if not that you all should really read this book. I've always stood by one thing and that is that when you read such books , you must never go for it with high expectations. What you must look forward to is a good time and a fantastic reading experience. The story isn't much and it never is. There were so many parts where I actually knew what was going to happen. But I simply didn't care. Why be a sour pumpkin when I've had a good time?

Also , damn you Cliffhangers.
I have a love and hate relationship with them. They excite me. I love them because they bring a total twist to the climax. I also hate them because ...they make you desperate. I desperately want to read the next book to know what this series has in store for us.
And even though the Cliffhanger was pretty obvious to me , it's good enough to rock your world.

So what should you look forward to in Opal?

1. DAEMON.

2. Dee and a possible future relationship.

3.Smexy times. Always the smexy times.

4.LOL moments because it's impossible to not have them in a Jennifer L.Armentrout book.

5.DAEMON.

6.DAEMON AGAIN.

7.And for those who like to wonder...Dawson. Maybe.

Dammit book! Where were you all my life? Where were you when I was banging my head on the wall because I was tired of reading horrible characters who make romance=cheese? Where were you when I was a worn out traveller in disguise , in search of books that gave me that kind of lightiness that made me swoon senselessly? WHERE WERE YOU?

Before I start this review , I'm just going to have to warn you all..
This review is going to be LOADED. It's going to be loaded with lot's of gushing! With lot's of incoherent rambles! Lot's of neurotic ideas and lot's of dyiiiiing! You have been warned.

Let me tell you one thing straight. This book is a classic cliche.
Serious cliche. IS CLICHED.
It's the classic story of a boy who comes across a girl in a party where both of them see each other and think that the person before their eyes is a total beauty with all those colourful eyes and perfect bodies and god/goddess looks that beautiful people usually have. It's the same story where both the boy and girl have their issues and try to fight their obvious attraction. It's the same story where there's a lot of funny banter between both the protagonists. It's still the same story where there are lot's and lot's and LOT'S of gasps! blushes! Tingling sensory glands! Invasion of personal space! Urgent kisses! and yeah..the same exact thing. 

BUT

WHATTHEHECK!

I don't care if I've read the same exact thing a thousand times and I certainly don't care if I'm enjoying every bit of it! What I want to do is scream out and do cartwheels. When I had come across Dizzy , I had known in my heart that I would like every bit of it. There is just something about those books....You know the types where you read the given synopsis of that particular book and you know that you're in love and that there is going to be nothing , as in , NOTHING between you and that book. That was the kind of feeling I had When I saw Dizzy.
Dylan and Ziah the main protagonists of the book are such cool characters. Not once did I feel that their romance was forced or that I was supposed to like it. It just flowed and I like flowy things! I love those huge flowy skirts! I love the fountain outside my house! I love my flowy bright curtains! I FREAKING LOVE FLOW! and that is why I love you Dizzy. 

Ziah and Dylan were the typical characters with relationship issues.
And the fact that , that did not annoy me is epic in itself! Like for example, when you're reading a book about this guy and girl who are madly into each other but keep on denying their feelings and do super stupid things and all you , as a reader, feel like doing is PUNCHING THEM. It happens so many times. So many times have I wanted to kick my kindle and Ipad and So many times have I felt like flushing my paperback down the drain. But..So many times there are books which make me want to dance on Dancing Queen by ABBA. So many times I feel like dying of all that swoon. SO MANY TIMES!

Leaving the main protagonists , I think the other characters were fantastic as well! Lora's and Derrick's love story may have not come across totally to the readers , but there was just something about them that made me want to know their story as well. I loved Paul's character. He is again the typical guy-bestfriend. He is the person who plays the part of a party clown , funny tattle and of course , a flirt.

The way I've been up with my psychobabble it almost sounds like the book is perfect. But of course it isn't. It has it's flaw and not everything is as cut out as it seems to be but the awesomeness outweighs the crapiness anyday! The pace is so right...neither is it too long or too short. It's the perfect balance and no way in hell do we ever get a chance to get bored.

Ms.Jolene Perry and Nyrae Dawn have done a wonderful job by collaborating their works and putting in both their talents together. Although , I haven't read a single book by them before , this one here is incentive to keep me moving and just simply enjoy.

In the end, Dizzy is a fun , sweet , fast and an amazingly cute book with all the swoon and brightness a light read usually exhibits. 
For all those who want to enjoy a nice , short fun read , then this is where you need to go and knock.
