I must give this five stars because I'm a certified biased pig.

Tormenting Lila, has nothing to talk about. It's a small novella of some 40 pages and it has absolutely nothing in it. Alex (OMG!!!) and Lila are on a holiday in Nantucket and Alex being Alex, makes senseless things sensible. So I'm not complaining.

I will, however, apologise to all those other books that were oh-so-beautiful but were just awarded four or three and a half stars. But you have to see, this book has an 'Alex' in it and I'm sorry, but I'm a desperate groupie when it comes to him.

If you're a Hunting Lila fan and really love its characters, then this novella is just for you. Meet Suki, Nate, Jack, Amber, Lila and ALEX, again and remind yourself why you fell in love with them in the first place. You have shirtless Alex. Horny Alex. Protective Alex. Irritated Alex. Swoony Alex. ALL IN ONE. So go ahead, read it!!

On the brighter side, it's safe to say that this one isn't all that useless. We're introduced to the characters and plot of Alderson's new novel,The Sound which comes out on 1st August. And the prologue and the first chapter have been given along with the novella.And let me tell you all, the prologue is crazzzy, in a good way of course. The bad guy of this novella will be the bad guy of the actual book. So yay!
Also, WOW. I had always wished for a possible something between Amber and Jack and wohoho. Please Ms. Alderson, I will do ANYTHING if you are nice and actually write something about both of them! And now that we're talking about other characters, can something be done we have something with Suki...again?

review:After reading Delirium and Pandemonium, we are well acquainted with Lena Haloway's character. We know what she's like. We know how she came to be. We've practically been a tag along all this while. We know that Lena lost her mother when she was six. We know the way Lena describes her mother. We also know how Annabel , Lena's mother tucked Lena in lovingly , danced around with her and made them delicious pancakes. We also know how Lena's mother was never cured. We had a brief brush with her in Pandemonium and we know how she escaped and held onto freedom with that one thought clear in her mind , that she will not be suppressed.

This being a novella from Annabel's POV is an absolute treat. 
It is so easy to simply like her character. While I had minor issues with Hana , another delirium novella , this one seemed to be almost perfect. I could see the world from the eyes of a mother who just wanted her daughters to be loved. I could see the world from the eyes of a seventeen year old who ran away because all she wanted was freedom. And I loved it.

This series is one of my many favourite series and with this powerful addition in the delirium world , I can barely wait to find out what happens in the final book.

There's also an excerpt from Requiem provided and let me just say, I am so not happy with what I read. I'm almost scared to pick it up now.

Can't wait for March. I don't usually mind Love triangles. I know I'm weird but it's the truth. But this is one , I so don't want to see and read about. It's already making me so nervous. Now that I'm thinking about it , I can't even decide which guy I like more and who I want Lena to end up with! Alex ? or Julian?  WHO?
Some may think that there is no room for confusion in this case. For many , Alex is a sure shot choice. Some also vouch for Julian. But after reading that excerpt , I'm so confused. And also a little bit angry.

I'm torn between giving 4 or 5 stars. I loved it so much. First Destroy Me and now Radiant! You people are trying to kill me! I want,I need Unravel Me and Boundless. Since Unravel Me is pre-ordered I only need to find some money to get Boundless too.Tucker and Warner! All I need to say to you is

*clears throat* Anyway

This is mostly Angela’s story but we also have Clara’s POV.  We get to see how they spent their summer in Italy before heading out to college. I liked Angela since Unearthly. There is just something in me that makes me love reading about goths and practically everyone who stands out.

Clara is still dealing with her mother’s death, her brother’s disappearance, and her breakup with my fictional boyfriend, Tucker while Angela sees her secret boyfriend, Phen (Penamue). IMO, they make an interesting couple. Since Clara is an empath she gets a glimpse into Phen’s soul and doesn’t like what she sees not because he ‘bad’ or ‘good’ but because he is an angel and apparently angels are incapable of loving people (cause they are God’s creation and they are meant to serve only him, something like that), but they do care, just not enough. So Clara thinks he should stay away from Angela because he will break her heart in the end. Phen is a Intangere (angel with a purpose, dunno exactly what it means) and he basically inspires people to write, compose, draw, etc.  He is a nice guy/angel and he is described as looking like Orlando Blood *drools*. He has that Dimitri Belikov quality about him I find incredibly appealing and you can feel that he is helping Angela to grow up as a character. Since Clara doesn’t think hooking up with an angel is a good thing this sets a strain in their friendship so they spend the rest of the summer practically not talking to each other. I am looking forward seeing how will they work things out in Stanford, or will it set them farther apart.

This novella also features a prologue and the first chapter of Boundless which will probably blow my mind away.  I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Wendy bringing Clara’s stuff back from Tucker and inside the box there was a copy of Vampire Academy. VA is basically the reason I got into books. Before it, reading was just an obligation. I never knew there is a thing called Young Adult fiction. Well, I did read HP and Twilight but I thought that was just a one/two time thing.
